Is it worth renting a car in #Buaires? I've heard this question many times and I don't take long to answer with a no.

Living History!

For those who like to "get into" the history of the city they're visiting when traveling, the Manzana de las Luces (Peru, 272) is an essential place in #Buaires.

Argentine Chinatown

Explore the famous "Barrio Chino" of Buenos Aires, a piece of China in the heart of the city. Located in Belgrano, it offers oriental shops, restaurants and supermarkets. During Chinese New Year, the neighborhood comes alive with shows, activities and food fairs.

Outlets in Buenos Aires

Yes, there are outlets here! The most visited are those in Villa Crespo, the Distrito Arcos shopping center and those in Barracas. They operate Monday to Monday, from 10am to 8pm, and Distrito Arcos until 9pm.

Humor Museum

In #Buaires there's the Museo del Humor, open since 2012. Mafalda has a special space there. It brings together works by great masters of cartoon and illustration. Free admission on some days.

The Racetrack is a good choice!

Recommended program for a sunny Saturday: Palermo Racetrack. There are always horse races and a casino for those who like to bet!

Cuisine and History

Pulpería Quilapán, in San Telmo, is charming! The menu has everything. On Sundays, at 3pm, there's a guided tour of the 17th century mansion.

It's the law, no salt!

In Buenos Aires restaurants, the salt shaker is always present. By law, salt cannot be added during food preparation. The customer adds salt to taste.

Visiting neighboring Uruguay

Let's go to Uruguay? Colonia del Sacramento is one hour from Buenos Aires. Montevideo is also close, just cross the river.

Obelisk

Fun fact: where the Obelisk stands, there used to be a church. There, the Argentine flag was raised for the first time, in 1812.

Constitución

Constitución Station, inaugurated in 1887, is one of the great railway hubs of Buenos Aires and one of the largest in the world.

Literary museum

Museo Casa de Ricardo Rojas: Argentine and Latin American literature, remarkable architecture and free admission. It's located in the Norte neighborhood.
